When a community's garden gnomes begin to disappear at an alarming rate a pair of lawn ornaments, Gnomeo (McAvoy) and Juliet (Blunt), recruit the world's greatest consulting detective (Depp) to track down their missing friends.

Husband and wife John Krasinski and Emily Blunt star in this story, set in the not-too-distant future, after an alien invasion of the Earth has left the planet largely devoid of life.
