Kathleen Mary "Kathy" Caldaroni, 79, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Caldaroni, died peacefully January 28, at Lord Chamberlain in Stratford. Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Helen and John O'Byrne, she had been a Trumbull resident for more than 50 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, John P. O'Byrne and his wife Dottie of Newtown; her sister, Eileen Hall of Anchorage, Alaska; her children, Michael and his wife Stacey Newell of Monroe, Robert and his wife Lisa Wenger of Wilton, Thomas and his wife Merci Caldaroni of Middlebury, and Karen DeRose and her husband Dan of Trumbull; 10 cherished grandchildren, Michael Jr, Nick, Courtney, Carly, Matthew, T.J., Robert, Katie, Danny, and Peter; a great-granddaughter; a sister-in-law, Roberta O'Byrne of Wallingford; and several nieces and nephews, who survive her.

In addition to her husband, her brother, Donald O'Byrne, and brother-in-law, George Hall, predeceased her.

Mrs Caldaroni was a graduate of St Mary's High School in New Haven and received an associate's degree from the University of Bridgeport. She was an office manager and bookkeeper for Integrated Marketing International. Mrs Caldaroni loved spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren. She enjoyed playing pinochle and bridge with her husband and friends and was an avid gardener. She was especially proud of her Irish heritage.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at Lord Chamberlain.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, February 2, at 11 am, at St Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will be private.
