Laurie Mills Juleson, 56, of Milford, beloved wife of George Juleson III, died peacefully March 6, surrounded by her family. She was born in Milford on November 20, 1961, daughter of the late Theresa Semonich Mills and David C. Mills, Jr.

Her children, Allison and Emily Shannon of New Haven; stepson Robert Juleson and wife Kristen of Newtown; siblings, David C. Mills IV and wife Kim of Milford, William Mills of Hamden, and Lynn Smith of Milford; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her loving dog survive her.

Her sister, Judy Mills St Onge, and her stepson George Juleson IV predeceased her.

A graduate of Jonathan Law High School in Milford and the Connecticut Business Institute, Ms Juleson was a former court recorder for the City of Milford, a volunteer for the rape crisis center in Milford, and a homemaker for the past several years. Known for her love of music, she enjoyed playing guitar and was a talented songwriter.

Friends and family may call on Sunday, March 11, from 3 to 6 pm, in the Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. A funeral service will be conducted at 5:30. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Monday, March 12, at 10:30 am, at King's Highway Cemetery, 273 Cherry Street, Milford.
