Mad Hatters Party II Being Planned For Booth Library Benefit

The Board of Trustees of C.H. Booth Library is planning Mad Hatters II, a fundraiser to benefit C.H. Booth Library. The event will be held at Michael’s at the Grove, 42 Vail Road in Bethel, on Friday, May 31, from 6:30 to 10 pm. The gala will feature a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, live music, a plated dinner, and opportunities to bid on prizes through live and silent auctions. All proceeds will benefit Newtown's public library.

Longest Day Fundraiser To Support Alzheimer’s Association

Play Reading-Discussion Group Forming At Booth Library

A new afternoon group is set to launch at C.H. Booth Library at the end of the month. Though similar to a book club, the new group will be different in that participants will read plays aloud — with parts to be given out on the day of each gathering — and then discuss the issues of the play.

Community Band, Local Students Performed May 10 Concert

Historical Society Planning Sunday Afternoon Open House & Living History Demonstration
