The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown will have Rick Daskam painting a landscape with a Monhegan theme at its next meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, March 13, beginning at 7:30 pm.

Snow Storm Forces Rescheduling Of Town Players Auditions

As a snow storm that eventully buried in Newtown under 11½ inches of snow was approaching the town last weekend, Town Players of Newtown announced the decision to reschedule auditions. Originally planned for March 3-4, auditions for the Ray Cooney comedy Funny Money have been pushed to Sunday and Monday, March 10-11.
