Low-Cost Rabies Clinic Slated For Dogs And Cats

On Saturday, June 15, from 10 am to noon, a low-cost rabies clinic for dogs and cats will be held at the Edmond Town Hall gymnasium at 45 Main Street. The cost for rabies vaccinations is $20 per animal with cash being only payment accepted.

Written proof (not tags) of prior vaccination for rabies or a current dog license must be presented to qualify for a three-year certificate. A one-year certificate will be given to all others.

Pet owners do not have to be Newtown residents in order to visit the clinic.

All dogs at the clinic must be on leashes and all cats must be kept in carriers. For additional information, contact the town clerk’s office at 203-270-4210 or the animal hospital at 203-426-8585.
