To the Editor:

As president of the Rotary Club of Newtown I must first point out that this is not on behalf of the club, but on my own behalf as a registered voter in Newtown. I am proud to endorse two of my fellow Rotarians for office in this election. Dan Honan and Dan Rosenthal are both lifelong Newtown residents and have both taken the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self" to the next level. They have served the community tirelessly at many levels and have always stepped up and asked, "What can I do to help my town?"

Dan Honan has done an excellent job on the Legislative Council and deserves your vote to continue those efforts. Please vote for Dan Honan for Legislative Council. Dan Rosenthal has served on the Legislative Council as well as the Police Commission and many different private organizations, like Rotary, that make Newtown a better community. Dan will always put his town first and will work with all sides to make sure that whatever is best for Newtown will happen. Please join me in voting for Dan Rosenthal for First Selectman. Together we can make this happen!
