Mary Magdalene & The Holy Grail

MONROE — The Sanctuary of Sophia will host a workshop, “Mary Magdalene and The Holy Grail,” on Saturday, March 11. The workshop will run from 10 am until 1 pm.

Snow date will be March 18.

The workshop will be facilitated by Gloria Amendola, who will lead an in-depth exploration of who the mystical 1st Century woman may have been, in light of new interpretation and understanding.

The first hour of the workshop will include discussion of new sources of information, as well as an overview of the concept of Sophia (Holy Spirit), the story of the Egyptian immortals Isis and Osiris, Mary’s connection to esoteric wisdom, and an examination of her abilities as a teacher, healer, light working and visionary.

The second hour will be a Question & Answer session and group discussion of the re-emergence of the energy of the Sacred Feminine, especially through the embodiment of Mary Magdalene. Current events, initiatives, and websites devoted to this material will be discussed.

The final hour will be devoted to meditation.

Gloria Amendola is a writer and psychic intuitive who teaches individuals and groups about the mysteries of Mary Magdalene and Christ consciousness, the energies of the dreamtime, as well as the practice of activating inner sight. She is also a practitioner of reiki energy and soul recovery.
