Dismissed. Avoided. Erased from the deal.

Women being taken seriously is actually a serious topic.

The Working Women’s Forum will welcome Kate Mayer to its final gathering of the season, Wednesday, May 8.

Ms Mayer has plenty to share on this topic. Audience members will be encouraged to share their own experiences or simply enjoy listening. A local activist, writer, and blogger covering social issues with a sense of wit and wisdom, Ms Mayer's appearances have been well received. This will be her third visit for Working Women's Forum.

The Working Women’s Forum is an association of local professionals and entrepreneurs.

The group meets at The Villa Restaurant, located at 4 Riverside Road. Networking and light dinner begins at 6 pm.

Cost is $25 ($10 for members), along with a cash bar.

Donations of canned food and personal health items are gratefully collected for FAITH Food Pantry.

To register, contact Working Women’s Forum President Pat Marlin at rsvp@workingwomensforum.net or 203-426-7022.
