Mr and Mrs Alan Haskel
Elaine Chen, daughter of Sally and Sam Chen of Johnstown, Penn., and Alan Jeffrey Haskel, son of Sonja and Larry Haskel of Newtown and Lynn Gilbert of San Diego, Calif., were joined in marriage at the Holiday Inn in Johnstown, Penn., on September 24. Their good friend Brian Coombe performed the ceremony.
Jun Chen, Johnstown, sister of the bride, Megan Petrasek and Melissa Weixel of Pittsburgh, Trisha Specht, Chesterfield, Mo., and Michelle Butters of Richmond, Va., were the brideâs attendants.
Eric Haskel, San Diego, Carl Anderson, Braintree, Mass., and Curt Anderson, Glastonbury, brothers of the groom, Joe McGarvey, Dana Point, Calif., Jason Cooley, Squirrelsburg, Penn., and Jesse Chen, Johnstown, brother of the bride, were the groomsmen.
Kelsey and Lindsey Anderson, Glastonbury, nieces of the groom, were the flower girls.
A reception in honor of the couple followed the ceremony.
The bride, a graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School in Johnstown, received a bachelor of science in biology at Pennsylvania State University. She is a pharmaceutical sales consultant with Johnson & Johnson in Seattle.
The groom graduated from Newtown High School and received a bachelor of science in accounting at Pennsylvania State University. He is an accountant/CPA with Aquantive in Seattle.
After a honeymoon in Italy the Haskels now reside in Seattle.
