Nancy Macisco

Nancy Macisco, of Trumbull, daughter of the late Joseph and Alice Erhardt, died November 24, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Survivors include one daughter, Allison Koziol and her husband, Zdzislaw, of Sandy Hook; two sons, Anthony Macisco and his wife, Maureen, of Columbus, Ohio, and Scott Macisco Erhardt and his wife, Lynne, of Parrish, Fla. The joy of her senior years was her grandchildren, Christopher Macisco and his wife, Heather; Joseph Macisco; Spencer and Madison Erhardt; and Olivia, Adam, Juliana, Maksymilian, Emilia, and Magdalena Koziol. Her sister, Louise Caterson; her twin sister, Lillian Butler; and her brother, David Erhardt and his wife, Georgeann, also survive Ms Macisco.

She loved singing and was a member of the Bridgeport Diocesan Choir and St James Church choir. Ms Macisco was a former broadcaster for CRIS Radio for the Blind, a member of the Fairfield County Cursillo community, and a published author.

The family offers sincere thanks to the staff at Smilow Cancer Center in Trumbull for their compassionate care.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, December 1, at 9 am, at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford, and at 10 am at Our lady of Peace Church, 650 Stratford Road, Stratford, with Reverend Paul Merry officiating. Interment will follow in Huntington Lawn Cemetery, Shelton. Friends may call on Friday, November 30, from 4 to 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org/donate) or through the funeral director.
