The Resiliency Center of Newtown (RCN) is offering a new eight-week series for girls in grades 6-8.

Girls Tribe will meet at Newtown Yoga Center, 78 South Main Street, on Mondays, beginning September 17. Sessions will meet from 4 to 5:30 pm each week.

Participants will navigate the challenges of being a teenage girl in modern times through education, wellness, and exercise. Each week, the group — which is limited to 15 participants — will learn different life experience skills, from yoga, running, and journaling to art projects, meditation, positive self-talk, and more.

Cost is $100 per person, which includes a sweatshirt and journals.

Registration can be done and additional information is available by contacting RCN, 203-364-9750 or beth@resiliencycenterofnewtown.org.
