On Sunday, May 19, 2013, at 11:30 am, the annual meeting of the members of Newtown Congregational Church will take place in the church sanctuary, 14 West Street.

The purpose of this meeting is to vote on staffing plan recommendations for the 2013-14 budget year; adopt a fiscal 2013-14 budget; receive a status of the leadership restructuring initiative; and vote on Capital Campaign Task Force recommendations: (a) Newtown Congregational Church will engage in a $600,000 campaign in Fall 2013 with all funds designated toward the existing mortgage, (b) the congregation grants permission to the church Council to select a Campaign Executive Committee, and (c) Newtown Congregational Church will contract with The Rev David and Mrs Patricia Williams as Capital Campaign consultants; elect and install new officers, boards, and committee members; and consider any other business appropriate to come before this meeting.
