Business background: Dr Huynh and Dr Campbell met while working together handling podiatric cases at several hospitals in the New York City area and decided to establish a private practice together in Newtown.

Dr Hang Huynh received her podiatric medical training at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio. She completed her four-year residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at St Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, where she was chief resident in her last year of training. Dr Huynh treats medical conditions including bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, heel pain, foot and ankle injuries, fractures, diabetic foot conditions, wound care, ingrown toenails, warts, corns, calluses, athlete's foot, fungal toenails, flat feet, children's foot problem, and sports medicine injuries of the lower extremities.

Upcoming events: On August 5, from 9 am to 2 pm, the practice is hosting a free pediatric clinic that will provide a brief exam, gait analysis, and suggestions about treatment or utilizing pediatric orthotics, if appropriate. Dr Huynh says that the practice's state-of-the-art orthotic inserts and footwear help prevent sports injuries including shin splints for runners, and a condition called calcaneal apophysitis, which effects boys 10-12 and girls 8-12 who play soccer and similar sports.
