Former longtime Newtown resident Michelle P. (Rell) Crissey of Bethlehem passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of October 26, 2023, with her loving family members beside her.
Beth E. Blackburn, 85, of Sinking Spring, Penn., passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 5, 2024, at Columbia Cottage of Wyomissing after a valiant and extensive battle with Alzheimer’s dementia.

We have approximately 4,030 students in our town, with a published 12:1 ratio which means we have 335 teachers. I would love to know the actual number if someone knows. If we account for their spouses that gets us very close to the number of people who voted yes for the budget and wished it would be higher (729).
