To the Editor:

We are deeply moved by the expression of confidence from our community, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are immensely grateful to our friends, both old and new, who generously contributed their time and effort to our campaign. The campaign was amazing because of all of you. And, a special thanks to our families for their encouragement and support throughout this journey.

Our opponents have served our community with distinction and should be commended for the positive fashion in which they conducted their campaigns. This election season was a welcome departure from the bitter partisanship outside of Newtown and speaks volumes about our community.

We are humbled by the faith you have bestowed in us and we will work as hard as we can for all of you. We are, One Newtown - All Together - Moving Forward.

Very truly yours,
