Young adult poets, jugglers, singers, comics, musicians and other entertainers are all invited to share their share your talents at Saturday Night Open Mic, an event being planned for Newtown Youth (grades 6-12) at Newtown Congregational Church.

The event will be Saturday, October 26, from 7 to 9 pm, in The Great Room of the church, at 14 West Street.

Microphones, keyboard, guitar amp and other instruments will be available. Live music only please.

Sign up starts at 6:45 pm; there is no early sign-up before that time.

Each performer will be given approximately five minutes. Space may be limited to 20 performers total and sign-up is first come, first serve. 

Suggested donation is $1 per person.

Adult family members attending are asked to bring a drink or dish to share.

Younger audience members under grade six are welcome, but they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
