Pamela Jackson Named Newtown Paraeducator Of The Year

The Newtown Board of Education and Superintendent of Schools Dr Lorrie Rodrigue recently announced Reed Intermediate School paraeducator Pamela Jackson was surprised with the news that she has been chosen as the Newtown Public Schools Paraeducator of the Year.

Ms Jackson has been at Reed since 2006.

A press release from the district announcing the news reads, “[Ms Jackson] exemplifies dignity, professionalism, and commitment in fulfilling the components of her job. Her greatest strength is her patience and dedication to the students.”

Ms Jackson will be honored at the state level for the award in the fall.
