Paul Northrup Mazzia, 79, of New Fairfield, died peacefully February 4 at Regional Hospice of Danbury, surrounded by his family. He was born July 23, 1938, in Danbury, son of Jane and Sisco Mazzia.

Mr Mazzia owned and operated Newtown Travel. He also worked at the United Nations and in the insurance industry as an investigator.

He graduated from Western Connecticut University and served in the Air Force.

His loving wife, Jane Lingley Mazzia; stepdaughter, Karen Notaro; and grandchildren, Anthony and Vanessa Notaro, survive him.

Funeral service will be private.
