Newtown Police Department is asking for the public to keep an eye out for a 20-year-old Newtown resident who went missing Saturday morning. 

A CodeRED alert has been issued, with Newtown Emergency Communications Director Maureen Will saying the male is autistic. 

The Avalon Way resident was last seen around 9:30 this morning, according to Ms Will, along High Bridge Road. 

The man is described as begin 5'8" tall and weighing 130 pounds. He has black hair, and brown eyes, and wears glasses.

He was wearing khaki pants and a brown T-shirt when last seen.
