To the Editor:

It is with great pleasure that I express my support to re-elect Michelle Embree Ku to the Board of Education. These next several months are going to be critical for the board. In addition to facing incomprehensible uncertainties in regard to future funding from the state, we are in the midst of a search for a new superintendent and we're still trying to sort out transportation issues.

Michelle is exactly the type of person that we need representing us through all of it. Her attention to detail, and logical way of thinking, has brought balance to the board during her recent four-year tenure. She is not one to get caught up in politics. She is open-minded and truly listens to every side of an issue, carefully considering both pros and cons before casting her vote. When re-elected I have every confidence that she will continue to support the educational and financial needs of our district, and I hope you will join me in voting for her.
