Rehearsals Continue For ‘Beauty And The Beast Jr’ At NMS

Rehearsals for Newtown Middle School’s production of Beauty and the Beast, Jr, continued this week as the dates for public performances inch closer.
The musical will be staged at the school, 11 Queen Street, April 5 to 7. Beauty and the Beast, Jr, will be presented April 5 and 6, at 7 pm, and April 6 and 7, at 2 pm. Tickets for the show will be $10. Tickets can be purchased online at showtix4u.com/events/2279.
A special free preview of the musical is scheduled for senior citizens on Thursday, April 4, with complimentary finger foods and beverages being served, starting at 3:15 pm. People interested in attending the April 4 event can RSVP by e-mail to krismpowers3@gmail.com or by calling 203-426-7642.
