The 45th Annual Rooster Run, to benefit Newtown Scholarship Association, will take place on Saturday, June 15, beginning at 8 am, near the municipal center, 3 Primrose Street, on the campus of Fairfield Hills.

The event includes a 5K, 10K, and Little Chicks Dash for children 3-8 years old.

Cost for the 5K and 10K is $25 for adults 18 and older, and $15 for ages 5-17. Runners 60 and older may participate for free thanks to a generous donor. Register by noon Friday, June 14, at newtown-ct.gov/parks-recreation.

Day of race registration, at 7:45 am, is $30.
