To the Editor:

I think many people in our town are becoming exhausted by the divisiveness of the political atmosphere at the national level.

Here in Newtown, we can do better. I have been so impressed with Rebekah Harriman-Stites and her ability to listen respectfully and make connections with Newtowners, especially those who may not always agree with her. She is someone who can truly represent all of us, not just the ones who vote for her or who belong to the same political party.
