Ricci’s Salon & Spa, at 99 South Main Street, will host a special event on Sunday, May 19: The Sandy Hook Green Salon-a-Thon.

From 10 am to 6 pm, stylists will be offering fun and pampering for the whole family. The following specials are being offered: manicures, $20; haircuts for women, $25; haircuts for men, $20; haircuts for children, $15; shampoo with blowout and flat iron, $25; shampoo and power intensive conditioning dose with blow out and flat iron, $35; men’s shave and hot towel treatment, $25; and children’s braids or up-dos, $20.

All services will include a free bottle of Sandy Hook Green, a new, limited edition color created and donated by O*P*I.  

Want the color but don’t have time for an appointment? A $10 donation still allows donors one bottle of the special nail polish.

A silent auction will feature items from Vera Bradley, Serena and Lily, Bare Escentuals, Ann Taylor Loft, Simply Baby and Kids, Sal e Pepe, Down On Main Street, Sanctuary, tickets to see the New York Yankees play, and more.

Appointments are strongly suggested. Walk-ins will be accommodated as time permits.

All proceeds will benefit Sandy Hook Promise.
