State Police Seek Help Identifying Suspect

LITCHFIELD— Troopers from Troop L-Litchfield are currently investigating several larcenies which are believed to be related. A person suspected of breaking into numerous parked vehicles which were left unattended at state parks in the town of Washington, Conn. is sought.

The suspect is believed to have rummaged through the vehicles while the operator/passengers were out on hikes. He is suspected of stealing credit/debit cards from multiple vehicles and later purchased Visa gift cards with the stolen cards from stores in the Naugatuck/Watertown area.

Any person with information that would aid troopers in identifying this suspect is encouraged to contact Trooper Seeger #325 at Troop L-Litchfield at 860-626-7900.
