Tara Fiscella & Mark Flickinger

Newtown residents Meg and Bob Fiscella announce the engagement of their daughter, Tara Fiscella, to Mark Flickinger, son of Caryl and Bob Flickinger of Penn Yah, N.Y.

The bride to be is a 1999 graduate of Newtown High School, and a 2003 graduate of Brown University. She also received a degree earlier this year from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina. She is a private wealth advisor for Goldman Sachs, and resides in Atlanta, Ga.

The future groom, who also lives in Atlanta, is a consultant for 4th Strand.

He graduated from Corning-Painted Post East High School in 1997, from Princeton University in 2001, and also completed studies at Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC this year.

A May 2012 wedding is being planned, to take place in Chapel Hill, N.C.
