Thanks And Appreciation

To the Editor:

We want to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the many people in Newtown for the thoughts and prayers extended over the last week with the passing of my dear husband and Aaron’s loving father, Jeffry.

Jeffry was a kind and generous person loved very much by me, by Aaron, and by Jeffry’s family and friends. Jeffry’s smile and vibrant personality brightened the lives of those who knew him. His greatest joy was giving to others. He was a precious gift who opened his heart to all of us.

The services led by Rabbi Praver at Congregation Adath Israel will always hold a special place in our hearts. The trip from the synagogue to Jeff’s final resting place led by the United Fire Company of Botsford’s fire truck followed by his family and friends was a very beautiful and moving experience. As we ascended the hill, we felt Jeff’s delight. Jeffry was a member of the United Fire Company for 29 years and we want the company to know how very proud he was over the past 12 years to have been their Fire Commissioner.

We want to especially thank Jeff’s family, Rabbi Praver, members of Congregation Adath Israel, and the Sisterhood and Men’s Club who extended special kindnesses during Jeffry’s illness. We also want to thank the Newtown Police, the five Newtown Fire Companies, and the Newtown Ambulance Corps for their professionalism and friendship. A special thanks to Jeff’s longtime friends who orchestrated the “culvert project.” On behalf of the entire Nezvesky family we feel privileged to live in such a caring community like Newtown. As Jeffry would always say, “It’s nicer in Newtown.”

Most Sincerely,

Bonnie and Aaron Nezvesky
