Thanks To A Teacher         

To the Editor,

Hawley School will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week the first week of May. I would like to take this opportunity to thank a special teacher. He selflessly comes to school an hour early to give my son and others extra help.  This is only one of many selfless feats he performs for our children.

He has filled the classroom with computer equipment at his own expense. He is constantly looking for new ways to inspire his students to learn. His enthusiasm for teaching ignites the sparkle in the eyes of each child, and arouses in them the wit and will to learn.

We thank you, not just for your generous heart, but for your vision, for your ability to gaze into the future of each child, and see that a difference can be made ... one child at a time.
