To the Editor:

Once again, The Bee sends generous support our way in its most recent donations. We thank all who participated in serving those in need in our community. Know you are a valued resource to our mission.

We thank The Newtown Bee for hosting one of our donation boxes. The public can visit the newspaper office weekdays between 8 am and 5 pm to drop off items for the food pantry. Donations are picked up weekly, taken to the food pantry, and then put into the hands of neighbors who need them.

The public is also welcome to visit the food pantry to make donations on Tuesdays between 10 am and noon, and Thursdays between 6 and 7:30 pm. Those are also the hours that residents who need a hand can visit to pick out items to help fill their pantries.
