Theresa Hetes Girgasky, 92, former longtime resident of Trumbull, died peacefully on November 17 at her home in Englewood, Colo., where she spent her last six years. She was born in Bridgeport on September 28, 1925, a daughter of the late Mary (Nemergut) and George Hetes.

Her three children, Joseph Girgasky of Newtown, Pat Falcone of Englewood, and Teresa Tichy of New York City; five grandchildren, Mike Falcone of Englewood, Greg Falcone of Denver., Teresa Falcone of Vancouver, B.C., Kathryn Carreon-Tichy of New York City, and Mitchell Girgasky of Newtown; three great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces, and nephews survive her.

In addition to her parents, her brothers, John and George Hetes; and husband, Joseph Girgasky, predeceased her.

Mrs Girgasky enjoyed listening to a variety of music, puzzle games, and most especially the company of her five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, on Friday, November 24, from 5 to 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 25, at 10 am, in St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
