Toiletries Drive For The Dorothy Day Hospitality House

The Newtown Service Unit of the Girl Scouts of Southwestern Connecticut Inc will be accepting donations of travel size toiletries for the Dorothy Day Hospitality House in Danbury March 5–9. The Dorothy Day Hospitality House provides meals and shelter to individuals and families in need of assistance in the surrounding area. Each year the Girl Scouts celebrate Be Your Best Day during Girl Scout Week by participating in a communitywide service project. 

Anyone who would like to donate toiletries may place them in the collection boxes located at the Booth Library, Newtown United Methodist Church, and Christ the King Lutheran Church. The Girl Scouts are also collecting toiletries in many of the area schools.
