Town Clerk Cindy Curtis Simon advises Newtown voters that special hours for absentee voting for the November 4 election will be held on Saturday, November 1, from 9 am to noon, at the town clerk’s office at 45 Main Street in Edmond Town Hall.

Applications for absentee ballots are available at the town clerk’s office and may be obtained in person at the office or by calling the town clerk’s office. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Any qualified registered voter may vote absentee if unable to vote in person due to illness or physical disability; absentee from town during voting hours; religious beliefs that forbid secular activity; active US military service; or service as an election official at a polling place other than his/her own polling place.
