‘Unity And Diversity’ Programs Preview

Unity and Diversity, a cable television program that features leaders and representatives of various religious communities in the local area, can be viewed on Mondays at noon and Wednesdays at 5:30 pm on Charter Communications channel 21.

The program scheduled for February 28 and March 2 will feature an interview with Pastor Gregory Wismar, from Christ the King Lutheran Church, Newtown.

Upcoming programs and their special guests or topics include: March 7 and 9, the Reverend Mark Horton, chaplain, Western Connecticut State University; March 14 and 16, the Reverend Ocean of Wisdom Satya, “On Buddhism”; March 21 and 23, the Reverend Paula Jensen-Moultrie, former pastor, who will speak on “Christian Science and its Beliefs”; March 28 and 30, the Reverend P.J. Leopold, executive director of the Association of Religious Communities (ARC).

April 4 and 6, Mahendras Asher, a member of the Greater Danbury Hindu Community; April 11 and 13, the Reverend Ann Beams, former pastor, Valley Presbyterian Church of Brookfield; April 18 and 20, Father Larry Carew, facilitator, Catholic Charismatic Renewal for the Diocese of Bridgeport; and April 25 and 27, the Reverend David Berthiume, pastor, The Seventh Day Adventist Church of Bethel.
