Victorian Lady Dresses Up A History Lesson

The Victorian Lady, Kandie Carle, will present an era in fashion and history at 3 pm on Sunday, September 12, at Lockwood Lodge.

Beginning with a vintage corset, Carle begins to add layers of authentic and reproduction clothing of the Civil War, mid-Victorian era, while discussing fashion, home life, etiquette, society, inventions, workplace, notable people and leisure activities, until she is fully clothed in period costume. An open house tour of Lockwood Lodge will be available following the program.

Kandie Carle is a professional actress, dancer, and singer with more than 20 years experience in theatrical arts. She encourages audience participation and answers questions during the presentation.
