Village Perk Cafe opened its doors at 6:30 this morning, the first day of operations for the new coffee house at 3 Glen Road in Sandy Hook. Nick Tornatore and manager Jennifer Weller were behind the counter this morning, ready to serve customers. The coffee house offers plenty of hot and iced drinks, smoothies, salads, grilled paninis, gelato, and Ovens of France baked goods. For the time being all orders must be paid for with cash. Hours are 6:30 am until 8:30 pm daily.
