To the Editor:

I am a registered Independent who co-founded the Independent Party of Newtown; however, I will be voting for all Democrats, and only Democrats, on the ballot on Election Day.

I encourage all Democrats, Independents, Unaffiliated, and Republicans who do not believe our nation is moving in the right direction to join me in supporting Dan Rosenthal, Maureen Crick Owen, Judit DeStefano, Chris Eide, Paul Lundquist, Jordana Bloom, Clinton DePaolo, Daniel Honan, Chris Smith, Kelley Johnson, Robert Pickard, Valerie Dudeck Hart, Keith Alexander, Steven Hinden, James Gaston, Roger Cyr, Debbie Leidlein, Michelle Ku, Barbara Manville, Don Mitchell, Margo Snellback, David Rosen, Alan Clavette, Prerna Rao, Christina Paradis, Joe Bojnowski, Andy Sachs, Jen Guman, and Herb Rosenthal next Tuesday.

During the eight years when President Barack Obama occupied the White House, Democrats lost 900 state legislature seats, 12 governor seats, 69 House of Representative seats and 13 Senate seats. The Republicans have taken over the White House, House of Representatives, Senate, 32 state legislatures and 33 governor mansions.

Please get out in force to #Resist those who support the Trump agenda by using your most important resistance tool - your vote!

Sincerely,
Po Murray
