W. Arthur “Artie” Goodwin, 68, of Newtown, died unexpectedly October 29, at St Vincent Hospital. He was born in Bridgeport, August 16, 1950, and was the youngest child of the late Arthur and Kitty Goodwin.

His brother-in-law, Daniel Domeracki of Havey’s Lake, Penn.; and his nephew survive him.

Mr Goodwin was known as a wonderful son and brother who helped his family every chance that he had. He cared for his mother for years when she was ill. Although a private person, he cared deeply for those close to him. His loss will be felt by many.

Burial will take place Tuesday, November 13, at the Newtown Village Cemetery, 22 Elm Drive, Newtown. It will be a small gathering of family and friends.
