Westover School in Middlebury announced local students who were named to the honor roll for the spring semester during a Convocation Ceremony marking the new school year. Elizabeth Bowen of Newtown achieved high honors with distinction and Karimah Gottschalck of Sandy Hook achieved the honor roll.

Kevin M. Johnstone, a senior at Fairfield Prep, was inducted into the James M. Bowler, S.J. chapter of the National Honor Society on Sunday, September 23. Kevin was also recognized for his academic performance with the distinction of cum laude for the academic year, 2000-01.
