Saturday, June 15, is World Juggling Day and Newtown Juggling & Circus Arts Club has decided to celebrate the day with two offerings.

The club’s main event will be at 4 pm at The Pleasance, 1 Main Street. Residents of all ages are invited to play and learn juggling and other props.

“We’re hoping for the same big crowd that we had last year. We may also juggle there after dark with glo-balls and glo-clubs,” hinted John Wisnieff, founder of the club.

In addition, some members of the club will be at Trinity Episcopal Church during its Lighthouse Festival, which will run from 10 am until 4 pm on Saturday. Members will be teaching juggling and other circus arts during the festival.

To help spread the fun of juggling and to bring jugglers together all over the world, the International Jugglers' Association will present World Juggling Day (WJD) on Saturday, June 15, 2013.
