Volunteers with Candlewood Valley Trout Unlimited will accept Christmas trees — cleaned of ornaments, tinsel, etc (no artificial trees) — to ecocycle in stream bank stabilization projects, which will reduce erosion and create refuge habitat for juvenile trout and other aquatic life; CVTU.org.
