Also, how does one rationalize the drop in the bucket that wind turbines production of “clean” energy against the severe and deadly damage it’s doing to whales, birds and other wildlife as well the eyesore and environmental impacts regarding the breakdown and toxicity of those materials?

Ah the irony. In a socialist country the letter writer would not have a choice about where to do business. But here they are, voting with their wallet. I guess you really can't have it both ways. I will say I'm very happy to see that many businesses in town are bold enough to speak their mind and let the chips fall where they may- just as noble as a boycott in my book.
