  • Snapshot: Jim Widmann

    Occupation: I have two businesses. One is SoNo Woodworks in Sandy Hook. We do custom furniture and cabinetry; the other is Connecticut Pyro Manufacturing. We make machinery for manufacturing fireworks. I invented and patented a machine about 15 years ago that applies the paper to the outside of the aerial shell. It does what is otherwise done by hand, ten times faster.

    Occupation: I’m the vice president for research and editorial services at Forecast International on Commerce Road. My company provides aerospace and defense market intelligence for many major US and international companies.

    Family: I’ve been married to Lisa for 20 years. We have no kids.

  • Snapshot: Aline Marie

    Occupation: I’m a certified yoga instructor, a visual artist, and a Thai yoga therapist. Currently, I teach at Yoga Dimensions in Newtown, and volunteer as a yoga instructor at the Resiliency Center of Newtown. In a previous life, I was a professional bartender for many years.

    Family: I have three brothers, and my mom lives here in Newtown.

    Occupation: I am the owner of Replay Sports, which relocated this past year to 731 Main Street in Monroe. I grew from the 800-square-foot space I had for four years in Newtown, on South Main Street, to 3,200 square feet. I sell used and new equipment and gear for just about every sport.

  • Snapshot: Tory Gozzi

    Occupation: I’m the artistic director and owner of Newtown Centre of Classical Ballet and Voice, in Newtown.

    Family: I’m married to Justin, and we’ve been married for three and a half years. We both have a lot of family in the area.

    Pets: We have a dog, Jake. He’s a Havanese, the Cuban version of a Bichon Frise. He’s the studio mascot and definitely has the cuteness card.

    Occupation: I’m the IT manager for Familycare Visiting Nurse, out of Stratford.

    Family: I’ve been married to Andrea Von Amelunxen for 14 years. We have one son, Gregory, who is 10 years old. I have two grown children in New Zealand, Nicky and Chris, and my grandchildren Chloe, Emma, and Taylor. Nicky is expecting another child in April.

  • Snapshot: Meg Reilly

    Occupation: I’m the Central Office secretary for the Board of Education.

    Family: My husband is Patrick. Our son, Sean, is a freshman at Eastern State University, and our daughter, Katie, is a junior at Newtown High School.

    Pets: I have two cats, Lucy and Ethel. They’re siblings that we adopted from friends, and are half-Siamese.

  • Snapshot: Diane Leaman

    Occupation: I work at Dental Associates in Danbury, in the billing and insurance department. It’s a great place to work. Everyone is so friendly there.

    Family: I have three daughters. Kim is 39 and in California, Kathy is 36 and lives in Southbury with my granddaughter, Nokomis, 17, and my daughter Chelsea is 30, and lives in Brookfield with her fiancé, Rob.

    Pets: We used to have a dog and cat, but I don’t have any pets now.

  • Snapshot: Missy Gregson

    Occupation: Most recently, I became a bus driver for All-Star Transportation. It’s fun and it’s crazy. I’m a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance, since 2008. I’ve been sharing my yoga practice mostly through Newtown Continuing Education. I also am a licensed real estate person, working as a referral agent.

    Family: My husband, Bob, and I have been married for 19 years. We have three boys. Scott is 17, Jack is 12, and Rory is 10 years old.

  • Snapshot: Andy DeWolfe

    Occupation: I am a senior at Newtown High School, and looking at Naugatuck Community College for their automotive technician studies. I work part-time at LeReine’s Cuisine, and I work for LRM contractors in the winter, shoveling.

    Family: My mother is Judi and my father is Mark. I have an older sister. Her name is Ali. She’s 19 and goes to the Culinary Institute of America. I get free food out of it, so that’s good.
