    The Newtown Rotary Club would like to thank all the people who came out to support our 54th Annual Pancake Day. It was a wonderful event to celebrate the holiday season with family and friends enjoying the best pancakes and sausages in town! Would you believe Santa was on stage doing the Zumba?

  • Lions Hand Over 12/14 Fund Administration; Will Continue Fundraising

    The Newtown Lions Club Foundation has formally announced it has ceased directly administering benefits to providers and individuals through a fund established following the 12/14 tragedy.

    Earlier this year, the local Lions joined in a partnership with Newtown Rotary Club, Newtown Memorial Fund, and United Way of Western Connecticut as a means to pool resources and maximize distribution efficiency.

  • Chamber, Rotary Accepting Business Of The Year Nominations

    The Newtown Chamber of Commerce and Newtown Rotary Club will host a joint networking event on Monday, February 3, at 6 pm, at Proud Mary’s at the Inn at Newtown, 19 Main Street. Along with fostering relationships between both groups, the purpose of this meeting is to kick off the 10th Annual Newtown Business of the Year Recognition program.

  • NMS And Reed Interact Clubs To Sell Christmas Trees As Fundraiser

    As a fundraiser for both the Newtown Middle School and Reed Intermediate School Interact Clubs, donated trees will be sold starting Saturday, December 7, for $40 each.
