• EFT/Tapping Workshops Scheduled For Public, Professionals

The Newtown-Sandy Hook Community Foundation (NSHCF) and The Tapping Solution Foundation (TTSF) have partnered to provide educational programs for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder with EFT/Tapping.

Complex PTSD symptoms for many Newtown residents, including students, may be overlooked, misdiagnosed and/or undertreated. Somatic release methods like EFT/Tapping address the neurological impact of trauma and assist the brain and body in returning to their natural resourceful and resilient state.

  • Resiliency Center Announces February 1 Event For Children, February 4 Tapping Solution Workshop

The Resiliency Center of Newtown has added two events to its schedule, both coming up within the next week.

The first program, on Saturday, February 1, at 11 am, will be a youth enrichment experience. Dr Joe facilitates the Creation Song Project’s easy-to-learn rhythms on the big drums, healing song chants and simple step dance.

Children will experience the healing power of music and the connection we all share in the Medicine Wheel of Life in this one hour program. All ages are welcome.
