Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce is hosting two events in February that will give local business owners an opportunity to network and learn about Connecticut’s growing and changing economy.

The first of these two events is a Super Bowl LX Business After Business Kickoff on Wednesday, February 4, 5-8 pm. The event will be held at NewSylum Brewing Co, 4 Keating Farms Avenue in Newtown. Tickets are $55 for members and $70 for nonmembers.

This “Business After Business” event will offer attendees an opportunity to network with other local businesses. Pizza, pretzels, and hot dogs will be served continuously throughout the event in a buffet style, and two complimentary beverages of choice are included in ticket sales.

On Friday, February 20, 7:30-9 am, the Chamber will host Economic Forecast 2026 with Mark Boughton.

Boughton is the Connecticut state tax commissioner and will be the keynote speaker for this year’s economic forecast. Topics will include where the Greater Danbury area stands in the economy, where it is projected to go, where growth opportunities are emerging, and how businesses can engage, invest, and plan with confidence for this year.

The location and ticket sales for the Economic Forecast have not been announced yet. Local business owners and interested parties can sign up for reminders by going to danburychamber.com. Readers can find the Economic Forecast 2026 in Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce’s events calendar.
