NSA Anniversary Ball Will Feature Live Music By Third Shift

BROOKFIELD — Newtown Scholarship Association (NSA) will host its 66th Anniversary Ball on Saturday, February 7. The gala will begin at 7 pm, and will be held at the Candlewood Inn, on Candlewood Lake Road. Tickets are $100 per person.

The event, a major fundraiser for NSA, will include an open bar and hors d’oeuvres, a performance by NHS musicians, a sit-down dinner (including wine), a silent auction featuring many fabulous items, and dancing to the great sounds of Third Shift.

Back by popular demand, Third Shift comprises some of the tri-state area’s finest musicians. The group’s line-up includes vocalists Nadina Perry and Tony Aiardo, Chris Geith on keyboards, Dave Livolsi on bass, John Durso on drums, guitarist Bob Ranaudo, Fred Scerbo on sax, and Dan Donofrio on trumpet.

With its full instrumentation and superb musicianship, Third Shift has shared the stage with major national acts including Kool & the Gang, Donna Summer, Tower of Power, Paul Anka, The Doobie Brothers, and Brian Setzer Orchestra at numerous venues including Foxwoods Casino.
