Newtown High School’s gymnastics team visited New Milford on January 8. The Nighthawks finished third, with a team score of 114.650, behind first-place New Milford (126.700) and second-place Brookfield (124.050), and ahead of fourth-place Danbury (108.100).

Sadie Boyajian scored 8.2 on vault, 7.6 on bars, 7.85 on balance beam, and 8.1 on floor for an all around score of 31.75. Addie Strychalsky’s scores included a 7.8 on vault and 6.6 on floor.

Eva Fenaroli scored 8.3 on vault, 6.45 on beam, and 7.3 for her floor routine. Bri Schoffstall had an 8.6 on bars and meet-best 9.0 on the floor. Bella Muzzio-Martins scored 6.15 on bars and 6.9 on floor.
