WWII Aerial Photographer For

Army Air Corps

Roy Costa, 89, formerly of Norwalk, died peacefully, January 13.

He is survived by Lee Costa, his loving wife of 65 years. Four children, including Joan Troy of Newtown, and nine loving grandchildren also survive Mr Costa. He was predeceased by his very special son, Robert.

Mr Costa served in the Army Air Corps as an aerial photographer where he received the American Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and World War II Victory Medal.

He enjoyed being a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #46 and was an active longtime parishioner of St Philip Church in Norwalk. He was an avid gardener who generously shared his abundant harvests.

A Mass of Christian Burial took place January 18, with burial at St John Cemetery, Norwalk.
