Violations Served Up On A Plate
Violations Served Up
On A Plate
To the Editor:
Things are a little slow today so I thought I would have some fun.
The other day I just happened to talk to a Newtown officer about my feeling that more and more cars are being driven today without their front license. I asked if it was still against the law and he responded with a positive, âYes.â He said any car without a front plate is in violation of state laws and will be pulled over. I said, âAny?â He said, âAny!â
So when I get The Newtown Bee I like to first check the police report and then the Letter Hive.
I see plenty of low end (cheap) cars that get tickets, but I have yet to see the leased high-end (expensive) cars get pulled over for their missing front plate. Is that because Thurston Howell III or his wife, Lovey, do not have that criminal look?
Maybe I should take the plate off my Porsche. Naw, Iâd get pulled over in a flash.
